We're Feedwell -- one of Sydney's fastest-growing fresh food catering businesses, delivering thousands of meals daily to workplaces like Google, Amazon, Canva, and Louis Vuitton. We run a structured, calm production kitchen and we're looking for a hands-on Team Leader to run our daytime prep team.

This is a working leader role. You'll be on the tools alongside your team, setting the standard for quality, pace, and cool room readiness -- while making sure the evening and early morning crews have everything they need to hit the ground running.

Hours: 8:00 am to 4:00/4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Your afternoons and evenings are yours. No nights. No weekends.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead the daytime prep team -- setting the pace, quality, and standard for the shift

• High-volume knife work -- chopping, dicing, and slicing vegetables and proteins to recipe spec
• Light cooking and roasting using commercial stoves and ovens
• Batch mixing and preparation across our salad, wrap, sandwich, baguette, and fruit salad range
• Oversee portioning and labelling to ensure recipe compliance across the team
• Own the cool room organisation and prep handover list for PM and AM teams
• Give direct, calm feedback to crew when standards slip -- holding the line without fuss

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Strong food prep skills -- high-volume knife work and batch prep experience are essential
• Commercial kitchen experience -- comfortable leading on a working kitchen floor
• Experience leading or supervising a small team, even informally
• Someone who keeps their head when the kitchen is busy and sets a calm, steady example
• High attention to detail and the ability to hold others to the same standard
• Reliable and punctual -- the PM and AM crews depend on your handover being right
