We're now hiring a hands-on Team Leader to run our early morning food prep and packing shift. This is a physically active role, leading a team of 34 while also working shoulder-to-shoulder on the bench to ensure quality, speed, and presentation standards are met.

What You'll Be Doing

Leading the Shift

• Guide and support a team of 34 during the 4am11am shift
• Delegate tasks and manage pacing to meet production deadlines
• Monitor food quality and presentation at every step
• Keep your area running smoothly and your team focused
• Ensure team members hit their station targets and stay organised

Hands-On Food Preparation & Packing

• Cut, portion, garnish, and present food to a high visual standard
• Pack catering orders with precision checking labels and quantities
• Follow production guides and checklists
• Keep your section clean, efficient, and calm under pressure

We're Looking For Someone Who...

• Has 3+ years restaurant, cafe or commercial kitchen experience
• Has leadership experience, even in a small team setting
• Works calmly and confidently under time pressure
• Leads by example neat, efficient, respectful, and reliable
• Speaks and understands English well (essential for instruction and order accuracy)
• Has high standards, excellent attention to detail, and a sharp eye for presentation
• Is confident working early mornings and managing a shift start

• Monday to Friday
• 4:00am 11:00am
• No weekend or night work
• Based at our commercial kitchen in Sydney CBD
